Wildcard
A PvP strategy game that used Thousands to drive community-funded growth and creator payouts.
Case Study Visual / Video
The Challenge
Wildcard needed a way to align their community with their growth goals, allowing fans to directly support creator campaigns and verify the results.
The Solution
Thousands provided the infrastructure for "Franchises"—community-funded pools that pay creators for verified attention and installs.
The Result
Thousands of dollars in payouts processed to creators, with a complete onchain audit trail of every outcome funded by the community.
How it works for Wildcard
Wildcard integrates the Thousands SDK to track game installs and "ticket sales" (in-game items). When a creator drives a new user who converts, the Thousands protocol verifies the event and triggers a payout from the Franchise pool.
This model allows Wildcard to operate a decentralized user acquisition machine, where the community (underwriters) provides the capital, creators provide the distribution, and the game provides the product—all coordinated by code.
